Re: Go Seahawks
Yeah I think the Hawks are who I'm pulling for. At least they have a couple of SC Gamecocks on the team. The Pats do to I think, but my S-I-L lives in Seattle and is an avid NFL fan, so I'll do it for her.

Re: Go Seahawks
It does, thanks. It took a while to get it that way. Every time I post flighted it, I'd work on getting all the old brown castor and dirt out of the nooks and crannies. Up front was red, but after I fixed a bunch of exposed wood, and some soon-to-be exposed wood, I painted it with black dope. It's the only color I had. I should put some clear on it but haven't made it to my LHS to get some. I had to fix a floppy stab, made mostly of foam, with an injection of epoxy. The other side is going to need it soon. I'll dissect the covering and force epoxy into the joint. Sort of blind surgery, but the fixed side is solid as a rock. It gave me the opportunity to align it too because it was way off alignment with the wing.Mark Boesen wrote:Lol, Huskers only got Dennard who is now a back-up DB
Jeez, that Magnum looks nice!
The fiberglass cowling looks like crap but it isn't visible to the casual observer. I added some more cooling vents. It flies really well, I just have to work on my posture to keep it from trying to be the boss. I wheel hopped it mildly last week(before the picture was taken), because on a strong downwind bottom on the V8 it pulled me two steps toward it and reduced my UP control input. I'm not going to let that happen again. I'm really proud of it. I ope to keep it in great condition. The leadouts are the weakest link with no thimbles and dubious looking flat crimps. No telling what's on the inside, so if that causes it's demise, so be it. But I've got a close eye on them... the outside parts anyway.
