Yes, the antenna was red, like a poor hair dye job it's red at the roots.
I was going to buy one of those ebay repro's but I thought I could do a better job by making one myself. Now I don't have to.
It's funny what you find on garage floors, I'm always blowing gaskets out of cylinders with compressed air.

I hear you !! great you have the correct one , I brush clean most cylinders after getting them unstuck and have got hd. gaskets hooked on a 4" brush not good , I did save a couple but had to order 20 to get caught up . really got my goat after the third time , had to have a conversation with self !!! I am doing better now though only one now and then Eric
