The first one i did, in fact that's what got me into anodizing in the first place, the engine was nice, but head was really faded and nicked up a little. The other two are original.

Here's a 1948 real McCoy 19 with a real McCoy glow plug and a real McCoy muffler.

When the McCoy "5" in the center came out I got both the glow and diesel versions. The diesel came with a stamped sheet metal radial mount. Apparently they modified the McCoy "5" to be both beam and radial mount like the OK Cub. I do not have any like the one on the right.

Note that the glow plug was proprietary, held on by the muff.

I have a Baby Mac like the one on the left but I have never run it...bought it used.

Those are some great looking engines.

The "Baby Mac" came out in '51, the McCoy "Glo" aka "5" in '55 and the radial mount version in '58 or '59 and was never advertised.

The "5" used a tappet valve to aid in starting, kinda neat...

When I started my collection, I decided I would concentrate on Fox so (foolishly) I Ebayed away anything I had that was not a Fox.  This was a Mac 049 with the wrench and sheet metal radial mount.  Back in those days I used a 480 resolution webcam for photos.

Impulse buys, despite common advise I live by them. Variety keeps life interesting. Cool

Wow, very nice! Congratulations!

Lol, in fact their so nice, i've copied the photos for my web site.

It's interesting many of the photos on my web site are from 8-10 years ago (in fact i think i have those photos of Bill posted) that i need to go in there and start replacing/upgrading them.
