I just won this Wen Mac / Testors parts lot.

I notice from the picture that there are several Cox "W" element glow heads.  Never seen or used one before.  How do they perform? Huh...

I have had experience with both types and honestly couldn't tell the difference.

I just bought a similar lot and about half the glow heads were bad. I hope that you have better luck.

"W" heads seem to cause problems for some people. I have been running some without problems though. They are a "low" compression head.

Not the best, it was a cost saving measure for product engines, but if its good and bright, why not use 'em.

Cost about $12 delivered, so doesn't really bother me. Spares are always handy. There's 2-3 Testors heads there as well, plus a couple of aftermarkt Cox heads (can't remember what they were called). If I get a couple that work, regardless of the other parts, I'll be happy. Nice to have them just for the sake of them being different to what I've got.
