.020 Plug connecting Empty .020 Plug connecting

I'm using the standard Cox glow connector trying to start my (newly aquired) Pee Wee, but every time the engine fires the damned clip flies off!
I've tried just about every way of placing the clip, lower connector pressing on the head, under the top fin, etc., but it just seems too big (and flimsy) to positively connect the plug, so I'm wondering if anyone can suggest alternatives? I've thought about two seperate mini croc clips, but then I have the problem of where do I connect the second one, would one of the mounting bolts work, or does the crankcase gasket insulate the tank? (yes, I know the obvious answer, "Try it" but I'll have to buy the croc clips before I can do that!)
The clip works OK on .049s but it's driving me mad on the .020! so any ideas will be gratefully received!

Hi,
I haf this problem so i sold my clip now i just use a regular glow start or crocodile clips.I attatch one to the head and the other to the top thing.
A way to solve this problem or at least remedy it to some extent is to pinch both parts together so that they are almst touching.This means that they will stay attached better because of the friction on the head.

Yes, thanks Indra, I'll get a couple of croc clips, at least those shouldn't fly off all the piggin' time!

The clips to tend to wear down over time. I have used the same clip forever and it's prob 30 yrs old. If it gets loose squeeze the top clip with some pliers and it will work as new. Also make sure you use the tiny hole for the .020 and .010 heads.
