I feel the same way about my scratch built P-38 Mauricio.

I breathed life into her about 50 years ago and despite my ham fisted fumble finger approach she still exists.  But, after every flight I removed the engines and wiped out the nacelles and wiped down the airframe.  I have been good to her and she has been good to me.  Keep her right out in the open where I can see her every day.  Still beautiful after all these years.

Friends, it is beautiful to be able to share this drawing, which does not need translation, does not need language or ideology, it is a true artistic way of expressing our love for airplane models.
The art of airplane models and everything that exists in that world is infinitely infinite, well, you learn so much and from so many topics that it is impossible to list them all, but it also has something magical, it awakens passion.
Blessed are those who are passionate about something, that, that very clings us to life, sometimes it is a dog, sometimes it is a cat, sometimes it is our family, sometimes it is a hobby. .
I have been fortunate to have so much love for this activity. I lost in life since my beginnings, some of you know it, but this hobby, and each airplane model and each step by step, became my axis.
It may not be understood, it is understandable, but since each of us has dreamed of each project, how many times do we buy time to do exactly what we wanted ?, each time I start a project, each time I shape the wood and every time I lift a model to the sky, I simply cannot explain what I feel, I could say in any case that one feels grateful to life for this.
You guys became great friends and I don't blame those who don't understand all of this.

My Friend , You are a very inspiring person . Your words mean alot to us and we are so very fortunate to have you here with us !! As i have said before i would truly love to visit with you in your land , i understand things are very different than here in the USA . You have such a wonderful passion for this hobby and what you create .

My country has become a very special place, if God is as strong as they say, we will need all his strength for good people to prosper in this land. It's a shame, corruption has gained a lot of ground and I am ashamed, I just have to keep doing what I have to do the best I can and once, generation after generation, I recover my morals and values. It will take a long time.
One day if the planets align I will find you dear brother and even if we do not speak the same language, it is understood that we have the same values, in your land or in mine, it will happen.
