Man! I love these plans!
Wish I could convert a .pdf to a .jpg so I could post the image here, because I just LOVE these plans. Not necessarily this individual plan, but the plans where its all overlaid and mixed together to fit on one page. They're like fun jigsaw puzzles that you can fly. I've only built a couple of these in the past, but they're fun to just look at and figure out, too.

That's how most of my own plans look like inside my head
Ran into that plan also while looking for plans for a profile Buffalo. I wish there still were magazines like that.

Man, they sure didn't like to waste paper. At first glance it just looks like a mess, but after you stare at it a while it all starts to come clear.

That's what I would call a "hot mess"
They probably did that to provide plans in magazines for the younger crowd. Thing is, I don't see many 10yr olds being able to figure that plan out!

Re: Man! I love these plans!
Back in the early 1980-s as a fresh university graduate/design engineer I drafted the API 661-compliant petrochemical fin-fan coolers the same way with plenty of overlays on one single sheet. We had a senior engineer in the company who checked the drawings before they were released for production and he noted: "András I appreciate your efforts to save the forests by condensing the plans on a single sheet but how on earth the manufacturer will understand what the heck you have designed?"
It may be why I surely can figure out the details of the plane on this puzzle....
