I can't see the pictures, but I'd guess those kits came from a friend of rkflyer's and mine. he made the kits and my sons and I all won one each at a contest. They are great little kits to build and fly. We made one an evil little electric project. Have a great time building them and keep us posted. With Pictures!

Fire Baby II
Hello Duke, Greg & Jack
I made these 2 - Fire Baby II kits from the same plans as yours, They fly very well & with the Gold Bee they will do anything! I think the boys will have a lot of funnn building & flying these planes! The plane is a take off from the Jim Walker Fire Baby of the 1950's.
These plans are from Frank Macy & Jim Cameron and I think they are both flying with the Fireballs in Portland Oregon.

Way to go Greg. Nice progress on the build! Hey, don't forget, school and sleep come first !
The plane looks great though. Keep the progress reports coming. And post some flying videos when the time comes

Re: look what rkflyer sent me and jack AGAIN!
That's completely up to you. My last build though, I just clear doped the fuselage and covered the wing with doculam. So it is completely natural. In my opinion, it is not like RC in any way, meaning that you do not know which way is up. Counterclockwise is up, clockwise is upside-down. You will only be a max of 40 feet, so again, you will be able to see it. Also, I think it looks very nice this way also.
