Quite a few years ago, I built a Microaces Fokke Wulf 190

I enjoyed building this but not flying it. It was, like many, too fast and too small for me but looked superb in flight as it whizzed by me.

I have several Microaces kits but can't find them - they will be boxed in a box in a box buried under boxes somewhere.

Anyway, I got the Scrappy Patriot recently and decided to build it. It is a cross between a foamy and a plastic model kit but using 1mm and 2mm foam with some 1mm plastic bits.

Almost finished

Just needs balancing and hopefully it will be nice slow flyer (and well under 250g so no need to carry my licenses and certificates)

Ian,

Is this a pretty easy to source kit? More.importamtly, is the radio brick and transmitter easy to find without the plane?

I see pieces/parts that can possibly fit in the smaller Guillow's or other Walnut scale models.

Thanks in advance...off to chase down this plane (chins-scratching along the way).

Thats a nice little model i checked the site out to see how small it is . and it is 13x17" i think it was? They have some interesting models for sale . The open servos are pretty cool since there will bee no nitro mess to clean up , i hope to hear how it flies and fro a good success for you . Very Happy
