Stoneway Group/Cox powered cars

Post  roddie on Fri Sep 25, 2015 7:32 pm

I can't find the link where these came from.. (pics from my photo archives folder) but check out the coolness. Cool

This one came to mind because of Mark's (batjac) twin-engine car he's building.

Leo Squires Many of you know Leo from his mini gorgeous tether cars and diecast conversions that he sells on E-bay with the Stoneway Group. Leo also builds custom Cox engines as well as artwork for logos and box labeling.

I was in email contact with Leo a couple of years ago. He told me he was having health issues (NFI) and was not able to take on more work because of his backlog. He did some amazing RR-1 refurbishments, and his engine work was incredible. I occasionally see some of his stuff up for auction on ebay, and it sells for a lot. Andy

I've lost touch with Leo, great guy (was a regular on the 049 Collector site) used to trade emails on a regular basis. Here's some "mock" RR-1's he did for me, Babe Bees with stunt tanks, i did the anodizing.
