Wow that looks like an old Kress DF they made several versions from ,049 to .40 I have one of their .25 units powered by an OS .25 VF-DF. The cone in the back is the tank. Fairly night RPM units. (Bandit)

Ok Bob and Robert Kress made these first ducted fan over 1975, yes front spin is tank and unit it´s very light.

Surely I don´t start never, but I think there will be cooked in hot water to recover the plastics flexibility.

Mine is the RK-720, used to be in my old Sport-15 it ran pretty well. Very simple fan unit. Btw if you plan on running it, check to see if the fan has replacable blades. If it does make sure the fit is tight in the grooves in the two retainer plates. if they are loose the unit can shed a blade. (Bandit)
