1/2A Streaker makes headlines with AMA
Hello my friends. Back in September the AMA (academy of Model Aviation) requested a 1/2A Streaker Kit to do an article on the RC Model which I was glad to send them. Actually the kit went Jon Barnes who builds and writes for the Academy. I'm sure many of you may have already read and/or seen the video but for those who may have missed it I wanted to share the story and video. The camera work is fantastic and very enjoyable to watch.
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.

Great video and article, Dick. These are about an electric version. I am happy to have built and fly mine with a COX Tee Dee 051 on RC carb, though..

Brad, I have not shot a video yet, but plan to do so. It flies well with the TeeDee, but I stilI need to attend an issue that causes the plane to stall when landing....maybe the tuned pipe should be removed to reduce weight and thereby also move the CG a bit aft...maybe I need to increase somehow the angle of attack on the wing which is a bit more problematic....or both..
