I built a tank that looks close to that size. If you want to run it.. it's not hard to build one. I used .008" Tin-sheet and 1/8" copper tubing from the auto-parts store. I formed the tank-body around a 1/4" thick plug.. which also serves as a form for making the two end-caps. The plug can be hardwood plastic or aluminum.. whatever you can find to easily cut to size and form the Tin around. Holes for the tubes were pre-drilled "small".. and opened-up using an awl, to produce a fillet for solder to pool around the tube which adds a lot of strength and assures a better seal.




This 6.1cc tank had uniflow venting for my CEF Reed-Speed airplane.. which you don't necessarily need on your model. I would run your feed-line to the bottom-rear of the tank though.. just like for an airplane. Provide a fill and vent, similar to the red tank in your pics.

Joe: does it have to be the original?  why not use one of the cheap 60cc, 90cc, etc. fuel tanks from Hong Kong for $4.00 to $6.00 with free shipping.

I ordered 1 90cc and a 260 cc and they will be here between Dec. 7 and Jan. 11. Most of the time earlier than the early date. However the tiny magnets I ordered in October aren't here yet.

Some hobby shops carry similar.
   p.s. I couldn't find the guy who sells the copy fuel tank.
