Wanted: Cox .15 piston, or piston/cylinder - FOUND!

Post  smooth_bill on Sun Jan 03, 2016 11:38 pm

Wanted:

A good piston from any Cox 15 Sportsman built prior to 1962. Piston diameter is .585” on pre 1962 Cox 15 engines.

As an alternate fix, a cylinder & piston from 1962 or later engine. These engines were bored out to .591” to comply with the .15 displacement class, and had a thicker cylinder wall.

Owner is not a forum member, so please contact me via this forum.

Any help appreciated.

Bill
