In Search of a Super Sport II
Hello Everyone
I am in search of a Super Sport II. I have been watching EBay and will continue to do so. But so far no luck. Does anyone have any leads on where to find one? I owned one as a kid and would love to have one again.
Thanks

That one may be missing it's rudder??
I had the redish looking one back in the day. It looks cool but heavy big plastic plane.
They do not fly well on a stock engine you need a TD in one just to fly it at a reasonable
rate.
Example of the power from a stock engine. Engine needs to be set up
to run it's very best just to get a lack luster flight. This example
is typical with low nitro and not enough needle tuning.

Haha, that's a funny one...
With shorter lines he would have been able to swing it a little better!

I own the purple sport with the 32 and that's pretty much my recollection of how it flew. Purchased new, it was fueled and run one time. It now resides hanging above my bench. The engine is very anemic and the plane is quite heavy. Ken

I also had the pink one as my first ever COX C/L but mine was not so lazy as seen on the vid...I guess the engine in the vid was just not set at its peak rpm, I can hear it being too rich and probably low on nitro..

Re: In Search of a Super Sport II
I think i found me the purple #32 sport tonight on Ebay! It is not the greatest shape, but the guy that has it is also located in my state. I put a bid in on it as I also asked him a few question about it and he was able to go to his warehouse today after the snow storm and re-look at it for me and answered my question. So far only one other has bidded on it... Cross my fingers that I get it. Needs a lot of work though from what i can see of it.
I knew mine flew faster that one did. I got really good with mine and remember got to the point was doing loops, but eventually never got dizzy anymore. I flew the wings off mine lol.

Re: In Search of a Super Sport II
And shipping is only $63.40!
The Sardonic Mark
Wow Mark, ouch, shipping for me would be $11.95, but I want the Cox Super Sport Trainer, purple color one, like my Avatar.
I think Flyboy is looking for the Cox Super Sport II, yellow one.
