These plans are quite good and I can use them to build a Baby Barnstormer. I only need one more thing so I can scale the pictures correct and that is the exact wingspan or any other measurement such as the fuselage length.

I got all the parts pasted together and converted them to pdf documents.

I scaled the prints to have a 24.5" wingspan and flipped the wing plan for counter clockwise.

My .049 TeeDee should handle the larger airplane.

This one could be converted to an RC looping, rolling fun fly machine.

HELP!!

I'm bringing this back up 'cause I saved the 11 pages here but missing a page above the fuselage side view with the elev/stab.
Has anyone the full plan or, by chance, made a single PDF of these he would post and share?

Thanks.

There are the 2 major pieces missing from Eric's post.
But they're full size A4 and I don't know how to upload an image that large.
The "host an image" function is limited to 800 pixels for the forum.
I have them scanned and ready to post if someone can tell me how.

Most excellent work, Eric! Those are the ones.
Thanks!

OOPS!! Spoke too soon.
These last 2 images print a little over 1/2 size, not full A4.

FWIW, the plan I've put together is 21 1/2" ws

PDF plans

Post  Mjsas on Thu Oct 20, 2016 9:35 pm

I pieced all the parts together and saved them in PDF format. With PDF format Adobe Acrobat can be used to print them at any size. Also Adobe will print the plans in pieces so they can be taped together into large pages.

At present my build is stuck on the fuel tank. I need a pressure tank and I want to use  Gits cap on it. A Gits cap is an old oil filler cap that used to be used on small electric motors.  I guess I will have to make my own Gits cap as I am too cheap to buy one.

Is a Gits cap the spring loaded type, Mjsas?
If so, won't pressure defeat it?
And what w.s. do you have on your plan?

Gits cap

Post  Mjsas on Fri Oct 21, 2016 9:36 pm

The Gits cap is spring loaded, however the amount of pressure is pretty small. The spring is way more then enough to seal the cap with a paper gasket. The TeeDee has a pressure port on the side of the crankshaft. The case has to be drilled for it to work. Then the carb can be drilled out to about 1/8" with pressure. I am not sure if it makes much difference in power.

Actually I plan to use a stock carb, the use of pressure makes the tank setup neater as there are no overflow tubes or vents. The engine starts and runs the same as an non pressure engine, no need for any special war dance to start it, just prime and flip.

Since my plans are PDF I can print them to any scale. I actually do not know what they would be at 100% size. I selected 24.5" wing span for some unknown reason but could have made it the correct size.
