Ok, I give up
After trying every way possible I still can't get the new host a picture app to work. I even tried a new brouser to no avail.
When I hit "Select files" it just brings up the title of the picture, not the URL of the old system where you could copy and paste into your text. Selecting "URL" produces nothing.
Does some one have a step by step procedure they can post that even a dummy can understand? Thanks......

Yup. I have tried every way possible to no joy. Maybe just not the right way.
The "select files" function just does not bring up a readable file.

Don't sweat it Eric. I can always use photobucket, but it's such a pain compared to the old host it system here.
I just tried dragging a photo into my text, didn't work either. I always get "Error, no text to frame conversion"......

1. select host an image icon
2. click on +select files
3. select a file from your computer i.e MGM.jpg scroll down in small window to blue box with up arrow
4. select blue box with up arrow, (host image)
5. copy middle file, (looks like a cloud)
paste

done. see if this helps.
maybe we need some tutoring on what the images mean.

I hit + select files
I hit the file on my desktop I want and select the blue UP (load) icon next to my file
Wait until it is uploaded
Then I select the MIDDEL of the Three URLs provideed and just copy and past (cntrl C cnrtl V) into the waiting reply post

Hmm
Have you tried dragging pictures to it from a folder or your desktop? It's a new feature so they probably have to work out the bugs. Is your java updated? Try clearing your cookies. https://www.coxengineforum.com/?mode=delete_cookies

Thanks, I have been doing that exact same procedure word for word. I get my photo "Sunrise jpg" then following your procedure I get "error no conversion text to frame. I'm running Vista and internet explorer but have no issues posting pictures on other forums including R/C groups, MGB Experience, Rimfirecentral and others.
The mystery deepens....

wow, have you tried google chrome? I avoid IE at all costs after being hacked by CRAZIES from India impersonating Apple employees and Windows professionals. Constant pop-ups until I changed to Google Chrome, then poof, gone.

Actually, I've been using Photoshop before noticing the image hosting procedure for this sight after reading this thread. I tried it this evening for posting my recent pics of the Stuka Restoration. Easy to do and I'll be using it from now on.

I'm using a really old Mac OS and it works fine either way for me. I can drag the picture in from the desktop or "Select file". Either way works for me. The "Send all" command was the only thing to throw me.

Hey, I just tried GC, let's see if it works........

Edit add... Well, look at that. Honestly the picture was selected at random. 30 seconds later I was laying flat on the ground. Let' see if it works from my picture folder.

Yup. Google Chrome seems to be the way to go. Thanks Happy Dad and all.....

Thanks Eric, I got it, see above. Only send all doesn't work, I copy and paste just like I did with the old system. I'm still kicking the tires on it.
