Procrastination!
I should have not waited to build this speed plane!!!
Nobody in town has any 1/16 music wire in stock. I should have stocked up when it was available.

Very true. It's a rule of mine not to take from from a kit.....
I'll figure it out, just makes me angry.

Don't feel bad, you're not alone. Mine has been sitting on the piano for weeks in the same condition. Almost ready for paint.

Re: Procrastination!
I have so many models to complete that are half started it just becomes overwhelming. I lose interest when the model gets to a specific stage. My next problem is I encounter too many events and the models get pushed back even further due to the need for others. Ken

I feel your pain Ron... Take my advice and "rob a piece from a kit". You don't want to lose momentum at this point. Put a note on the kit box that reads; "1/16" music-wire taken for speed model"... You'll get to the HS long before you start building that kit.
If you're desperate... go to the landfill and bring heavy wire-cutters with you. Cut some "spokes" out of bicycle wheels. I just checked my bicycles.. and the spokes range from .070" to .080". You can drill-out a bell-crank, control-horn or wheels for the larger diameter if you need to.
