Have you been following my build thread since I am back from pain city? Blow up Mad! Blow up Mad!

I have been building the F4U and just started looking at the Spitfire. See Cox Gravity RC upgrade.

I have an extra F4U never touched and the Spitfire I was going to run thru the placement of parts: servos, receiver and battery and discuss the stock motor versus a small brushless motor, and/or refer those readers to other threads lie RCG, etc. I also have an extra wing with a setup for ailerons, an extra fuselage and maybe an extra wing for the F4U.
PM me if you are interested, The only other model I have is the one I started the thread with, the ORIGINAL Cox Sky Cruiser, See Cox sky cruiser RC update. It was a freeflight I converted to RC. Stared in 2012. Radios and batteries have changed some in 3 years so the weight should be less. My allup weight for the current F4U Corsair with 350MaHr battery and 6channel 2,4GHz radio is 4.0 ounces, maybe 4.1 oz. no gear. The guy I purchased the F4U's from sent me a couple of tiny gear sets that could be used for landing gear and only weigh .1oz. or so. wire dragger for the tail.
I'm running out of gas and brain cells, so PM me for pics and more discussion.
p.s. I understand the P-40, P-47 are very hard to get. I originally ordered the P-47 and got the Spitfire instead. And Gravity was the latest manufacturer.

I've been looking around, but...

not much out there that I have seen P-40 or P-47. Try RCG group.

EDiT 1:14a.m. 8-29-15 - to add info

also try wattflyer another electric plane forum. some stuff, (2015), is newer than RCG, (2008-2010).

enjoy.  HD

Wanted a little mre

Post  happydad Mon Aug 31, 2015 7:58 pm

I found a little more info about the Cox Wings series, but I think it is outdated. The links I tried were kaput,

link:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=797

old batteries, radios, and motors, but good build and flying info.

thanks tony. Jesesere is looking for a P-40 or Zero, etc. I'll move to my MacBook and post from there. I have searched and looked all over lately. Another +1 for electricTony.

Regards,

here is the best prize on the Zero, (including shipping). I do not see the P-40.

I will list the others available after the Zero link: $19.95 free shipping

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Radio-Control-Airplane-Gravity-CLASSIC-WARBIRDARF-Zero-GEAR0600-/111584751547

ME-109 link:  $19.95 plus free shipping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RC-AIRPLANE-Gravity-CLASSIC-WARBIRDARF-ME-109-GEAR0700-/311273120682

High wing plane 21inch wingspan with radio link: $25.00 plus $13.95 shipping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Radio-Control-Electric-Airplane-GRAVITY-GENR0300-/111639633663

that's the different models. Different prices with other buy-it-now Plus shipping was much more, (i.e. ME-109 $18.80 plus $15.80 shipping??).

Enjoy

Jsesere: The closest thing I can find to what you really want and the cheapest so far is this thru aliexpress

never done business with them, but the system includes a 4 channel 2.4GHz radio with 3 ch. stabilization in receiver. $182.74 shipped to U.S. 31inch winspan.
