Cox Engine of The Month
Wanted, Wen Mac spring

Wanted, Wen Mac spring
OK, it's not Cox, but I know most folk here have other engines, I'm looking for a replacement starter spring for a Mk.XIII Wen Mac .049.
I'll take spring only, crankcase with working spring (even if it's not a XIII) or a complete scrap engine.
Please PM me if you can help
Wilf

Hey Wilf,
I'll check to see if I have one on a trashed case. I traded off a New in Package spring about a year ago to a member of the Collectors Group, so they're around...like everything...just a matter of tracking them down.
Later ! Kim

I got an un-broken (I think) spring on a trashed "Pipe Bomb" engine...am soaking it now to break it loose and make sure.
We can check with some Wen Mac'rs to make sure it'll work...if so, I'll get it to you for postage

Re: Wanted, Wen Mac spring
You're welcome!
I posted a note in the thread over on .049 Collectors to see if anybody knows for sure that they're compatible. I was gonna try to send just the spring, flywheel and sheet metal shroud...not that I'm attached to the case, but because they'd make a flatter, lighter package. It you want though, I'll just chuck the whole thing in a padded envelope between a couple of cardboard slabs and launch it.
