Something new on my "Love to have" list
I had no idea Norvel made a .40 CL engine. This is the Big Mig, and they make a ball Bearing version too.

No, I'll never buy one, but sure would like to. Just another tantalizing dream, Lol

They've got a special gasoline version that uses glow plug for ignition. I don't know if it is a special glow plug that catalyses the gas. One commented it had the power of a glow .46 engine. Without the weight of ignition system, would be good in a sport R/C plane.

It is a special plug, very similar to the OS G5 plug. Something about the type of metal used to make the element.

Never? That's a LONG time! What if you were offered a REALLY good deal on a NEW IN BOX engine? I have the RC ball bearing version and would put fairly serious money on being able to come up with a new venturi to replace the existing carb if CL was what you were after. Let me know if you are interested.RknRusty wrote:I had no idea Norvel made a .40 CL engine. This is the Big Mig, and they make a ball Bearing version too.
