Thanks guys.. Admin, I don't know much about it. I do know it's official as I got it from it's original owner that had it stored but I was so excited to have it that I didn't ask any questions.. I didn't want to give him a chance to change his mind! Lol. GallopingGhostler, there is patches because I actually own one that is NOS so it's definitely available but not sure how difficult it would be to come across being most people would of sewn them on something right away im sure.

Actually, KingofCox, I wasn't necessarily referring to an original, it could be a copy. The Cox one has only 3 colors and it is simple, so it would be easy for a patch making shop to duplicate it. We had a custom one locally made for our Christian Motorcyclists Association chapter, cost around $13 each to do in quantities of 25, because of complexity and more colors and limited quantity.



However, question would be, what would truly be the demand? No contractor is willing to take on such a venture, if they cannot be assured a reasonable profit plus market to make it worth their while. No one likes to have things tied up in unsold inventory taking up space and investment for them not paid off, to include a chapter president.

Even Bernie at Cox International has expressed that the reason he has not embarked on making certain parts for example, for the .020 Pee Wee is that the demand is not enough to justify larger minimal quantities (like 1,000 or 2,000 or more) required by parts makers to make costs affordable.

Reality is sometimes a hard master.

Just curious, but does anyone offer a Cox patch? One could create a Cox jacket by having one sewn on. It wouldn't be the genuine article, but one could show their allegiance.

I’ve requested a quote from a Patch making co. Based on a 5” Dia patch using the picture of the jacket as an example. Their web site indicated a base minimum of 10 at 50% embroidery would be about $25.80each, dropping to 13.41ea for 20. I thought Jacob had looked into this for a CEF patch and found it rather costly.
I have purchased a couple of the T shirts from tee spring. They do get points as a conversation starter at swap meets and fly-ins!  

Do you think we could get Twenty members to commit $25 each for a patch, with the “profits” going to CEF to maintain the web site?
