Warming up.....aka Getting ready to get ready.
I believe this is the first time this F-15 mesh protected engine has ever been ran.
Filled the tank with 35% Cox (only fuel I had on hand) primed it and one flip it started right up, then died. Tiny three blade not easy to flip so I resorted to the 1/2A starter ruining the spinner in the process. I hate that.
Started up rich, leaned it out and ran the tank dry.
I'm a ready Freddy...errr Robert for next weekend.

Tucked away up in the loft Jim.
Maybe I should remove the Enya's and bench run them too. Not sure if I had ever run those .09's or not. But then bench running doesn't check the fuel delivery system either, so guess I will have to get it messy. Will leave my son to fly it though unless I enjoy some un-dizzy time "flying" the F-15. 1/2 tank running rich may get me a turn or two or three.
