Re: Another guess how many Cox engines contest......
Is the top shelf the one in question or do we have to consider the other two shelves too?

I kinda left that in as a red wheel. (Didn't want to make this too easy)
But...............Maybe, maybe not. But I would consider the top shelf only. Maybe.

Your lucky penny must have been minted in 1957...................
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!! 57 little Cox engines all in rows. My benefit is I finally get a chance to clear that top shelf of these little dust collectors.
PM me your address and the Enya's will be on their way. And, my thanks to all that participated. It's been a lot of fun for me.

Yes, oldenginerod and new222 sandwiched it at 56 and 58 so I knew it was just a matter of time.
I could have ran a "How many engines are in this case" contest, but it would have ran weeks. Besides, I have no idea as to how many are in there and I'm too lazy to count them.

I hadn't thought of that Rene. I have only owned one Conquest, NIB and sold it long ago. My mistake, one of many.
I took a lot of pictures of those Cox engines, some gave away everything, some not enough. I finally decided on the one I posted. But I thought of using this one that shows a line of Cox engines on the bottom shelf, but they did not come out very clear.
As I mentioned. Fun for me on a rainy day. I figured everyone knew there were a pair of Cox engines hiding in that P-38.

Re: Another guess how many Cox engines contest......
The nice thing about that pair is the IV is basically the III in right exhaust. Install an RC carb on the III or CL venturi & NVA on the IV, you have a nice pair of engines to mount pancake on a twin engine model. Both engines would be on the inside of the engine nacelle or boom for clean looks from the outside.
Those engines are strong runners when propped right.
