A Testor's "Baja" Bug?
My son sent me this ebay ad:

Bob, I received one from my aunt around 1977. It was fun until the pipe bomb blew up. My dad repaired it for me and I used it until the hard plastic wheels wore down to the point the tread portion separated from the rim. There's a white plastic bridle part that snapped into the underside of the chassis and they're usually missing. I kept mine and finally threw it out last year. I shouldn't of done that . I noticed many for sale are always missing that needed part. Ken

After selling and/or throwing away everything for years I have changed my habits and save most of my hobby stuff to say nothing about used car parts. But, I must say everything is marked, boxed, and safely put away probably for someone else to toss in the years to come.
One unique thing about that Bug is that it was sold through J.C. Penney. That's been awhile.

And they had a van too..... The only problem beside having only one engine is that as Ken stated, the wheel is cracked on teh drive side, as well as the gear on the wheels are each missing a cog or 3. But to have them is nice enough. I have been toying with how to make at least one work, but have just put them on my TV stand.

ISTR Testers fuel was pink, and smelled different from Cox fuel when running.
I had the Cox Baja Bug while a buddy had the van. While we chased mine wherever the air-filled tires bounced it, his remained tethered to the basketball court. The kids didn't mind mine...we started it on the edge of the tar and pointed to the grass. They hated his because we drove a nail in to the tar at center court and kept them from playing b'ball for 20 minutes. The girls skip-roped over the tether until they tripped...and then we would get chased off.
Mine could go off road and climb hills...his was a lot faster but only on a hard surface!
