yes....on this crankcase up build---- for some reason this LH crank shaft is long

Mike, how come you didn't fly your yellow plane in the speed contest? It's beautifully done and looks mean just sitting there. Reminds me of the Shoestring, probably the yellow color but you did a nice job on that plane and I'm certain it would've moved and grooved nicely on the circle. Ken

Thanks Ken . I'm still trying to find a spot to fly the plane , some one to help launch and time and I don't know how to post a video or have a way to do so . I'm hoping to fly in one of the events when I can sort every thing out . That is if I can still go roundy round with out falling down on my butt . Seems like model airplane flying is disappearing around here in Northern Ohio . Maybe next time .

Mike, not sure exactly where you are but some guys still fly at the Rouge River site in Detroit. It has a paved circle I think. I would only go when there are other people there. We are flying at the Beanfield near Dresden Ontario this weekend. Likely 3 hr drive into a different country, passport....

I flew Rat and combat up near Detroit many moons ago with ( against ) the Adamisions and John Kilsdonk . Rouge park ??? I don't think I would drive that far now in days to fly my 1/2 a ship . Also flew indoor Free Flight up in Flint . Now in days I don't do much driving , maybe 50 miles from home the most . Thanks for the idea but I will keep on trying to find some help around here Lorain - Cleveland area .

I remember Kilsdonk from the day. We used to go to the Cleveland Jr. air races and Dayton in the 1970s. A bunch of good guys went there. Johnny Smith, Frank Garzon. I was just a skinny kid then. I go shopping near Rouge park, but heard bad things happen there. It is probably less than 50 miles for me, but it costs me $12.50 to cross the bridge and I have to deal with the border Gestapo on both sides of the bridge. Not really a problem. I've been to the Flint circle but it has grown over pretty bad. They keep the grass cut nicely.
