(Found) .09 tee dee carb body.
In light of a recent purchase, I find myself in need of a .09 black carb body. I have some other avenues but, I decided to check in here first. Item need not be new just not cracked or otherwise damaged. New is ok if that is what you have and are willing to sell. PM me or reply here if you have something.
As always I appreciate any and all help provided.
Ron

Fred,
That is too funny, I live in Cibolo and Garden Ridge is just a couple miles down the road. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I doubt my old army buddy even knows I do flying models much less the significance of cox to our early learning to overcome dizziness...grin
Just cool that you mentioned your town and I recently learned Troy retired there. I am north of you on same type small town... Lampasas.
SkyRay turned out very good and have a few others to fuss with but as you know we never really got a winter and I spend a lot of time RC flying/learning at our CenTexModelers club field. None of my fellow members do circle flying up here.
BTW I ordered and got one of the 1/2A Banana RC planes from Israel through Cox International...real cool and complete kit..highly recommended

TD carb body
Ron,
If you want to make your engine a runner I have new carb body for Medallion .09. It will fit and have a new needle valve. It will require a spray bar and nut. This may not help but the Medallion body has better air flow as not all hardware for TD nva. I think the Galbreath nva for small engines will work. All my years with engines have not come across a carb body for TD .09.

Dan,
I appreciate the offer, I have already dropped the cash on a new black anodized aluminum one from Mike Parkin. It wasn't cheap but, it should last forever. I paid $27 for the .09 and $22 for the carb body!
Good to know a medallion carb body will work in a pinch. I was wondering that myself and you confirmed. Thanks again
Ron

Re: (Found) .09 tee dee carb body.
FYI, MECOA has the plastic "carb" bodys for TD and Medallion 049, 09 and 15 fairly often as they produce them from the original molds. Spray bars, NVs and venturis are the hard to find items
