Engine run-in service.
Here's something I've never seen before. Must just be for the serious racers who don't want to spend time playing with their engines.

You should find some threads regarding this type of break-in. It's almost like the castor synthetic debate.

I can understand people using this service because those model car engines are diificult to run in. You can't just stick a propeller on most of them.
This is a cheap one but as you can see the carb/venturi overhangs the drive shaft.

Same problem, Even so - not sure that an oil bath will reach the temperatures needed to run a little two stroke engine properly without excessive wear.
One of my acquaintances decided to run an engine in by mounting it on his lathe and flooding it with oil. After one hour he ended up will a clapped out engine and no compession!
