The Porsche body


After first cleaning

For this step i use vim
And after i use rain x renew plastic

The first result is good but not enough To satisfy me

My second try Not yet perfect

I put aside then start the restoration of the motor one of them does not need any its new and never used just dust


I just dusted off the tee dee

During the cleaning of the second loose engine which to my surprise was modified with cylinder no 3 twin bypas wit spi


Litle work on the 1972 jerobee radio control

the radio control is dirty the receiver worse the batry contacts full of batry acid

I did not take any photos of the restoration of the receiver
I took the components of the old battery to keep the internal look like in the 70s

I transformed the envelope of the old battery to make a fake


Now inside is a connector for a normal 9v battery I believe that a single batry is sufficient but possible to add a second in parallel inside

I decide to polish the body again The window was too blurry from the inside, I didn't know which product came into contact with the inside but it was very difficult to get rid of With old parts of more than 40 years old who knows which product it would have been in contact with tink just nitro splash

It took me time and patience yes like 4 Hour of patience to rub like crazy now i like the result


I use the two products one after the other the final with the wax step 1

I had to solder the brake bar it was broken  I had both pieces, I got it repaired rather than making a new one


I use two pieces of gas tube to hold the receiver in place al working Good For now I have to wait for the temperature to calm down as soon as the weather is nice outside I'll do a little try and capture it on video for you I know that some parts are not original with the bandero model But my intention with this model is to have the feeling of driving it with the original components mutch more than use upgrades parts I just can't use some of them at the moment a tire its rim (mag) stuck on its Diy starter that the last user saw fit to use for this job: lol: I think I have to find a rear wheel rim for bandero

That body came out well and you did a great job polishing that windscreen. You will see this yellow body from far. You apparently changed chassis. The grey one was modified for teeDee use with the left cut-out. Also, the wide wheels stick out of the Bandero body. But the foam tires will give you an improved roadholding. I think to be confortable, you could use this additional white chassis plate to house the fuel tank but then again, I don't know whether that still fits with the rigid body.

Yes I think I figured out what I'm going to do to cover the giant hole in the back and
Seems very realistic to me that way

I must now apply decals
Number plate and som sponsor sticker from that time frame

This is Nice To have i was tinking of Difrent sticker as this look like the McLaren mk8 decal sheet cant Find noting for the Porsche 910 tink of use this one as référence

At least she looks like something now its Almost hard to believe it's the same car
