First flight of the season
Today I couldn't pass up this opportunity the perfect temperature It was a little late, the sun was disappearing quickly, I had to stop the engine with a lot of fuel. Left but it was fun We add another flight
one more on the tiger moth
Photo taken after the flight if only i could film this flight was fast using the 5x3 safe tip yelow prop

Good one David. Nitro by moonlight. Tiger Moth, what a great old plane. Nice flying sequences in the movie "Out of Africa." Looks like you're running a Cox Safety tip. Stands out in that light.

I found a way to film I think I can install a camera on a cap nothing very perfect but next time I would like to film it The yellow propeller is perfect at nightfall from afar have a good visual cue that differentiates the back from the front you know loss of orientation can happen more easily at nightfall I could add lights mabe light or reflective tape Somting Cause soon I think I'll have to fly at night Because I often help my wife put the little one to bed who goes to bed later these days.rsv1cox wrote:Good one David.
