Keil Kraft ( ? ) Hurricane and Testors Cosmic Wind
Hi All - thx for the add.
I’ve just joined as 4 days ago I picked up a Hurricane and Cosmic Wind in a sad state for £20. I remember looking at a Hurricane in the window of the toy shop at the top of Kingsbridge, S Devon when I was about 10 so I was keen to snap these up.
With a bit of TLC for both ( un-gumming engines ) and working out how the dismantled starter engagement works on the Hurricane both engines now turn freely with good compression. The Hurricane starter recoil spring works ( with care ! ) as does the clever zip / pull starter on the Cosmic Wind.
The Hurricane just seems to be missing its canopy - anyone out there 3D printing new ones ?
Would also really appreciate a scan of the original instructions. I could return the favour for the Cosmic Wind.
The Cosmic Wind is missing its silencer. ( May have been an optional extra ? ). Are any others compatible?
Thx for bearing with all these newbie questions. I’ll try to post a photo.

Welcome to the forum, @Tigerrider99.
Maybe @Petehhn can chime in?
This is the first time I have seen a KK RTF, and a Hawker Hurricane at that, looks like it could compliment a Cox P-51B RTF. We don't see much of other's creations this side of the pond, short of importers such as Polk's Hobbies, AHC, Penn Valley Hobby, etc. (all now history) and Aeromodeller magazine.
I suppose one could try by making a hardwood form shaped exactly like the model's canopy, and do the old heat-stretch-clear-plastic over the form.
@rsv1cox seems to be a master at restoring obscure RTF's. I don't know if he has made closed canopies.
I suppose a Guillow 16" Hurricane rubber powered canopy might be a touch small?
