Ronald Valentine is just too cool.
I have got to get me one of these!
Valentine's Bee, .00037 (cu in) Nano Bee Diesel Engine by Chris Hans Valentine and Ronald Valentine
One of Ronald Valentine’s goals is to build the smallest operational diesel engine in the world. His Nano Bee measures merely 7/8 of an inch long with a bore and stroke of 2mm adding up to a total displacement of only .006cc or .00037 cu in. Under Ron’s guidance Chris Valentine exhibited great skill in his machining techniques as he produced this Nano Bee. He machined it from aluminum and steel bar stock with some tolerances held to one ten-thousandth of an inch. The engine will spin its 1-1/4 inch propeller up to 12,800 revolutions per minute.

In theory any of them can fly.
RocketRob on RCU flies a RoVa 0.098cc on a little power mouse.

Yeah they are 0.05cc is 0.003ci as opposed to .01 so less than a 3rd of it's size.mitchg95 wrote:im thinking of getting this one, http://www.ronald-valentine-engines.com/23_Blitz_0.html

I have one and it's lovely, only ran it once for 3 seconds to see that it could and I can tell you it can!

That little diesel sitting on the keyboard just blows my mind. I admire the precision of the work. The things I have made are crude in comparison to this man's products.
