And an angry email from someone that wanted it but, by the time he went through checkout, it was gone.

The only reason this one was priced at the low end of the spectrum is because of the missing manual and cracked plastic box.

It's the overseas market that drives pricing on such collectibles. The buyer is from Singapore.
