Two nice plans, Wilf.
Interesting placement of the gear on the Prophet. I would have expected the gear legs to have been at least vertical, if not very slightly forward.

Yes, it does look odd, there was a fashion among early low-wing R/C models of all sizes for this swept back landing gear, the original Astro Hog had it too, I don't know if it was for a specific purpose, or just cosmetic

Generally, rule of thumb places the wheel axle in line with the leading edge of the wing, to avoid nose over, but far enough back to allow the plane to rotate to horizontal on take off.
