hi All,
i need a Cox Thimble Drome .049 CI engine for my Mercedes Benz W-196 Racer . Does anyone have one in stock ? or suggestions as to where i can find one ? Please help Thanks

He is looking for the one with the Babe Bee tank that has the filler tubes in it. Also, the extended needle stem.

I have/had one for sale that I am holding for Mitch.
He hasn't paid yet so not sure if he still wants it. I will let you know what comes of it.

He is looking for one like this which has the filler tubes similar to a stunt tank bowl, backplate with no filler nipples, elongated needle stem, and muffler.

We did a couple rebuilds on this type for a guy a couple months back. Needless to say they are very tough to locate.

Mercedes tank
look in my photo gallery and you will see the tank in the car , i put it on a plane engine
all i have is the muffler and the tank for the car. yes they are very hard to find

Look what just popped up.
A bit pricey, but rare.
Fan blades look a little beat up.
For $75 I'd expect better.
Several expensive w-196 parts for sale at the moment on e-bay.
