The SF series came out after the FSR series and featured a one piece crankcase. Nice engines. Dont know much about the Enya though. From my experience the Enya's don't seem to hold the resale value like the OS enignes.

this has a 2 piece crankcase, and the backplate as normal
the enya engine has a 2 piece crankcase but no backplate as the plate is part of the crankcase casting

Mitch, the OS SR is a high revving engine with plenty of power. I believe it's a ringed engine twin ball bearing. Some claim it was their favorite OS engine of all time. That engine was made with a rear intake version as well. I always thought the FSR was the front intake version as you show in the picture. The Enya is a well made engine and it has a history of almost 20 years being produced. It's an iron piston engine. Enya engines are notorious for long break in periods. When most people want to throw them out is when you want to take them off of their hands as they're just breaking in. Your version probably has the round case for the r/c carb. The control line version came with a square casting and a plastic insert. The stock venturi's and needle assembly are still factory available if someone decided they wanted to go the control line route. This was a powerful .35 compared to others from that era. The engine came with two heads, a high compression and lower compression head. Ken

Mitch this seller on Ebay has a great selection of parts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ENYA-29-45-SPECIAL-MUFFLER-ASSY-NIP-SM292-/221073002826?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3378fa514a . That is a very good price for a muffler even with the shipping included as mufflers are quite expensive. As for the head, I could tell by looking at them, but George has one of the heads pictured above. I'm not sure without seeing them side by side. Ken
