Question about Space Bug
Are the venturi threads on the Space Bug the same size and threading as the ones on the TD 049?
Could the TD RC 05 carb be used on a space bug??

Re: Question about Space Bug
I am not sure the thread but you can not put on TD RC carb on space bug as both ventury in spacebug & TD carb have male ends. You need a coupler if you want to connect this two.

Venturi or Carb?: let's get this straight
These two terms are often interminged and confused.
re: Cox engines
To me, a venturi is a place where the air/fuel mixture enters an engine whereas a carburetor also includes some sort adjustable air intake regulator as well.
True or false?

Additionally, the cast tank for the Space Bug has the fuel pickup on the side that the needle is on. For RC use, assuming you want the fuel pickup on the bottom, you need to mount the tank needle down. The pickup is cast in, it is not adjustable.

Edit: Forgot to mention...nice pipe Steve. I have a couple of meerschaums, one with a carved face.

Interesting, I never knew the tank was built that way inside.
