Glow head with no thread
Hey guys was just looking at my spares box when I remembered I have a strange glow head in there still in packet
Now it looks identical to an 049 head but with no thread at all looks like it was supposed to be like that is this a manufacturing error or is it for a different engine sorry cant post a pic as can't find anyway of doing it on my iPhone can send pics via email though
Maybe someone can shed some light on the situation!!!

Re: Glow head with no thread
Do you mean threads or cooling fins? There is/was a car version that was smooth, in order to clamp a larger cooling head on it.

Hey Dizzymen,
the #335 head has a thread and was used on the cox gtp and some Kyosho r/c cars.

Re: Glow head with no thread
I am pretty sure that is a Rossi .15 insert style plug used on their control line engines.

Re: Glow head with no thread
Yes, it could well be for the Rossi .15 engine. The cox conquest (.15) also has a very similar glow head that is held with a ring and four screws.
