Engine comparison chart

Engine comparison chart
Here is a link to an Engine Comparison Chart for the 36 different engines that we sell. We get many inquiries as to what makes one engine different from the other, so we created a chart

Re: Engine comparison chart
proofreading
in the OTHER column of the second section DIESEL is listed for the RC Diesel and RC Bomber. It probably should be the Diesel Bomber and RC Diesel.

Re: Engine comparison chart
Some asterisk suggestions:
Back plate or tank venturi diameter
Cylinder boost port configuration
That said the chart is great.
I would like to get the file in comma delimited or some form that I could port into MS excel and change format to read all columns for a particular engine left to right on one page.
Your format is great for most to view on line without scrolling. I have the luxury of two monitor set up with a 30" wide screen that has nearly a yard of view....grin

Re: Engine comparison chart
You can just copy and paste it into excel sheet, I tried it and it works. But they all go into single column. And need to transponse it.

Venturi size: The problem is that I ran out of landscape for paper width for more columns but will work on this again today.
Cylider porting: All cylinders are exactly alike inside but I will mention this somewhere.
Layout: I can have an Excel version but did not host one as it would not print correctly. Also, some users will either not have Excel installed or, if they do, their anti-virus software throws up a warning. I will experiment with formatting today.
Re: Engine comparison chart
Bernie don't sweat the Excel version. I think I can stuff each column in my spreadsheet manually from the PDF
formating....consider adjusting the first sheet and third sheet header columns to be the same (eight across)
Thanks for the hard work all your resources on your site are excellent

We only made one to help our buyers make educated buying decisions for our products.
An OEM chart may be an idea but I don't believe I have the knowledge to do so. However, if someone wants to make a comprehensive one, we would certainly be willing to host it on our server.
Re: Engine comparison chart
Is the data for the Extreme and Blue Bullet correct? Both of mine have SPI pistons in open exhaust cyl

Re: Engine comparison chart
The data is correct but ambiguous.
All TD cylinders are SPI by default and our mention of SPI means a shortened piston.
I will revise the chart on Monday and replace the "Piston" column with a "SPI and "yes/no" one.
I have to redo the chart anyhow as we are discontinuing the "Green Hornet" and the "RC Cruiser" engines, to be replaced by a different "RC Cruiser" and an "RC Aviator".
Thanks for pointing out this ambiguity on the chart.
