Today I learned firecrackers are much more fun underwater...

Happy New Year all! I go with the east coast and don't lose any sleep that way (I'm on the west coast).

Since Saturday I've been in bed, sick as a dog! Felt a lot better today...enough to get out to the R/C field with Jr. for a quick flight or two. I hate to say it, but when its frickin cold electrics are pretty nice! After lunch we slipped out for a quick round of disc golf. The cold air seemed to burn my lungs, but it was great to be among the living...we always take our health for granted until something happens. We're babysitting Grandkids tonight, as I reflect on 2012, Miller Lite never tasted so good!

Happy New Year! The morning looks better thatn staying up late. We ca always wathch the fireworks and the ball drop on the news. Looks like we are off toa fun fly in Portland Or. The roads on the traffic website looked good. A little snow here butwe'll give it a go. the boys really want to go.

Well, know pictures yet maybe Wednesday. But the boys both won a roll of monokote and won a 1/2A Skyray kit. Sweet!

What fun to have something like this going on this time of year! Guess I'm gonna have to get to work this New Year and add some converts to Pat and my "Two Man Circle Turner Group" !!!!

I just received the pictures for the new yeat fun fly in Portland. Hope you all enjoy. It ws a cold day to fly but we had hot coffee and a hot lunch. Only one crash.

Looks like a fun day Duke! I am envious.

It was cold, but a real nice day. I'm glad we drove the hour and a half to get there. I won a 1/2A skyray and I've made a throttle bellcrank for it to make it a carrier plane. It's almost done, I had to make some changes for carrier. I just need to put a tail skid and tail hook on it and then paint. I'm still waiting for my new throttle backplate from Cox, it should be here before I'm done doping it. I hope it all works.
