Tips on Sharkface model
Hi guys firstly
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
Sorry haven't had much time recently
To log on but have just been checking out the latest threads and seems you have all been busy peeps
Anyway back on subject
Father Christmas found me some plans for the Clutton Sharkface originally for single channel am not that brave so will be putting two 9g servos and mini rx in instead my question is have any of you built one or flown one some good tips would be great haven't put scalpel to balsa yet but hopefully in the next week will
Make a start should I go for rudder elevator or perhaps aileron elevator (seems to make more sense to me what has anyone else done should I leave it alone and build as plan or has anyone got any good mods
Hope u all received what u wanted from father Christmas !!!!
Cheers

Re: Tips on Sharkface model
I'm assuming you fly mode2 Phill.
What I've done on both my Bacaruda and Old Timer
Is put put both rudder and elevator on the right stick.
In your position I'd probably go ele/ail.

Re: Tips on Sharkface model
Hey John yes mode 2 is preferred if I go ele/ail am assuming I shall take out the dihederal altogether or still leave a wee bit I remember flying I think it was an ugly stick as my first powered plane when I was a kid it was ele/ail and had no trouble with it I seem to remember it had some dihederal in the wing not loads but some maybe stick to plan but add ailerons instead of rudder ?
