Wanted recoil starter part(s)

Wanted recoil starter part(s)
I have a Sandblaster that I would like to get going again, the red pull from the recoil starter has been missing since I used this as a kid. I'll need a glow plug, fuel, fuel tank, battery to get it going again as well. Newbie here so looking for some direction, thanks!

Re: Wanted recoil starter part(s)
The Sandblaster has a pull cord? The drawing we have shows it having a starter knob instead.
The glow head is available here:

Battery box here:

Directions for buying fuel here:

And complete engine replacements and some parts are here:

Re: Wanted recoil starter part(s)
The earlier version had a pull chord, I found one on ebay but I'm not allowed to post the link as a newbie unfortunately.

Oh I see...
You can always post the eBay item # instead of the link.

I just bid on it. This model is from about 1973. The pull on mine is red with raised COX letters. I would like to get it running again and then decide if I will sell. It was a lot of fun back then.

I have a friend that likes these. I was able to get him this Sandblaster and some parts for it from Ebay:

Re: Wanted recoil starter part(s)
That's just like mine except I still have the roll cage over the cockpit. I see they had to replace the fuel tank as well which gives me a good idea how to retrofit it with a better one. The original was plastic and the nipples broke off far too easily. Thanks everyone, I'm a musician who frequents a saxophone forum similar to this on a daily basis. I feel like I just walked into a room full of strangers and everyone said hello!

Ah Reedsburn,
Sax, that explanes the screen name. Thought it
might refer to reedy engines.
I don't play sax, but Andy Mackay has always been a fave of mine.

Thanks
I found a replacement recoil parts kit here on the forum while I also bought an entire used engine intact from a Sandblaster from ebay. I will be getting other parts down the road from sources here, thanks everyone!
