Weird to me babe bee

Weird to me babe bee
I have this Babe Bee that I have never seen the likes of before. It has a single fill tube and a really small brass drive plate. It also has a slit cylinder, but it looks out of place. Anyone seen one like it before?

Most likely it's a mix of different parts. Hence the cleverness of Cox. Pusher case, Sure Start or Texaco cylinder etc.

Sounds about right, what about the single fill tube?

Ok, I wonder how it's filled? Whatever another Babe Bee for the parts pile.
Thanks Joe!

There should be a small vent hole in the top of the backplate for the air to escape. Ususlly next to the fill tube. Might be covered in gunk.

if you look close theres a small overfill hole, i think these were seen on R/C Bees and Texico, last of the metal backplates

Brass drive plates were pretty common from what I'm finding out. My PT-19 engine had one, the new PT-19 white one I bought has one, Jeremy's Uncle Randy's PT-19 has one too.

Guess I need to get out more! To be honest most of my Bee's are old an have the standard stuff.

Looks like the new style tank back in metal instead of plastic, pretty cool.

In the top pic you can see light through the vent hole.
