Thanks however I'm
Not sure if I'm going to run it because tiny diesels have a notoriously short working life and as size decreases so does the ability to start them easily.
Also its just so pretty.
But if I do run it I'll probably fly it on a 1/2 scale tom
Thumb with rc.

Better not drop that thing on the shop floor, you might not find it!
That's one tiny engine --- I wonder how it would stack up against a horsefly?

Yeah it's tiny.
I think it would blitz a horsefly (pun intended)
I won't try and drop it anytime soon.

Gotts love the Valentines! I just received a Speed Bee I disc valve last week. They are incredibly beautiful engines. His attention to detail is extraordinary. I hope you get as much enjoyment from yours as I do mine, even more if possible.

.00305 cubic inches. I can't wait to see it run. Have you got a plane ready for it?

Well not sure yet there are some problems with engines this small.
There is no available prop this size.
I would have to somehow shrink fuel tubing to fit it.
Just finding screws small enough to mount it is a problem.
Then fuel i would need about 50% ether and I would heve to mix the fuel myself.
Then,
Tiny diesels are not known for being easy to stet and have notoriously short working lives.
But you never know.
Maybe a 1/2 scale Tom thum or a tiny 4-5" ringmaster.

Well at this size working tolerances and precision are so critical let's say you lose a mm from a 3GS engine, the chances are it will still run. But lose 1mm from this and 1/5 of the bore is gone and there is no way it will run.
The more it runa the more it wears out and this happens quickly on anything smaller than .010 especially diesels because of the type of combustion.
Do they just wear out?

Ahh. It's a shame.

Yes that's why I want to get good on a lathe then I can make parts that would be otherwise irreplaceable.
