Looking for a 1/2A stunter for my new Thunder Tiger .070
Like I said in my other post, I picked up a new Thunder Tiger .070 at a swap meet Saturday. I'm looking for a great 1/2A stunter to put in in. Any ideas for that great stunting 1/2A?

That one has been on my build list for some time now. I now you can get kits for something around $75 and plans with a rib set for $30. The only thing I don't like is the inverted engine, I like the looks but not the starting. It needs a little bigger engine, do you think the TT .070 is big enough? Great chose!

I know nothing about the TT .070. The Pinto is designed around the TD .049 as you know.
Based on pure displacement the TT sounds more powerful. If so then it would probably have a ton of pulling power. Surely you could redesign the engine mounting? Not sure sounds possible though.

Another good choice might be the Stork. It is a bigger flapped 1/2A and could handle the extra power.

I'll have to look that one up, don't remember it.

Brodak kits it. So does someone else. RSM?
Big span. But very light.

The Pinto is nice, it's why I suggested it. I think if you rework the engine mount it will be what you want.
The TT .07 looks like a little monster. Should pull the Pinto nicely.
