Not been looking at Fleabay for a while guys/thankfully!

What are a Holland Hornet and a MK1 thinwall TD15 worth?

Give opinions on worst ways please cos I'm thinking of thinning out a
little and wondered if it's worth slinging these.

Very Happy

John,

Holland Hornet

With bits missing and needing a restoration $30 -$40

Perfect $150 -$170.

I would be interested in the Hornet.

Ouch Ian.
I think our friend in the North may have sold me a couple
Of pups. He said the 15 was desirable cos most ended up
Being run then broken. I guess I overpaid on both.
I'll hang on to em but bear you in mind ifaswhen.
Very Happy

The thin walled TD 15 was only made for less than a year 1960 - 1961 but was prone to the cylinder failing and, as there are not many about, may be considered collectable if perfect and unused. This model also had the ball jointed conrod which also failed.

The Specials seem to command more money with the ultimate being the Special MKII with the gold crankcase and schneurle porting even though more were produced.
They also had the con rod gudgeon pin set up.

For a "runner" the Specials, collection only the "thin walled".
