Re: Wanted: Cox Pinto Funny Car (Bill Schifsky)
Here you go! I took these pictures about 3 years ago at the Back To The 50's car show at the state fair grounds but just last December, the same guy selling it at the car show had it listed on Craigslist.
I'm sure a few people on here knew I was going to bring this up!

What condition are you looking for? NIB or good used? There is a couple on Ebay right now.

Looking For NIB, but thats a tuff find, and usually lots of paper!! Never fueled ,out of box is great for me. My friend will sell me one for $450 out of his collection, but he loves his collection that took 20 years to put together...too much I think, but that's his price, I mean the tires dont have a blemish, but it has a price?? I missed a real nice one on RC Groups for $200 never fueled . I found that once fuel has hit these old vintage cars, it really eats them up from the inside out...I just purchased some used Baja Buggs and a Dune Buggy, thinking I scored large!! wrong ....I'm not impressed with what fuel has done to these cars, I lost money on that one!! The only good thing about Fueled Cars...the castor oil preserves the engines.thats it...Thats why my old engines like Strato Bugs and the .15 Rotary Atwood are working and turning great...the castor oil. Anyway, looking for an unfueled Cox Pinto Funny Car guys, thanks for the tips Ron!!
