The one I would use from Byron is # 3130230bullit132 wrote:ive been running powermaster heli fuel 30%nitro with23%synthetic blend, just went to the hobby shop and got a new quart at 21.00 with tax,but i saw some byrons heli fuel 30% with 17%synthetic at 41.00 for a gallon would this byrons fuel be acceptable for my cox engines??i also always throw in a shot of klotz syn tec with 20%castor oil in it,hope you all approve of byrons fuel, cause ill buy a gallon of it,alot cheaper
I would then add 1.6oz of castor to bring it up to 20%. None of his castor/synth blends have enough nitro for my preference in Coxes. If you want them to last, 25% nitro is easier on them than your 30% and the performance difference is negligible for sport flying.
