1/2a speed
My 14 year old sons favorite thing to do while flying is see how low he can fly and keep it straight and level. I suggested we build a speed plane and he liked the idea. Where can I find plans that don't require a speed pan? Tee dee or reed is fine but I would prefer tee dee.
Thank you,
Jim

Pop over to Hip Pocket Aeronautics.
http://www.hippocketaeronautics.com/hpa_forum/index.php
get the logins if you don't have them already and look at the plan gallery.
http://www.outerzone.co.uk/ is another choice, no login required.
On Hip Pocket the White Lightening might fill your bill as a slab wing all around good performer if a true speed type is not the actual the desire.

Re: 1/2a speed
We are making our own design Mouse racers around here. We fly with each other every chance we get to find the fastest one that week. It's funny. We use the reed valve Cox engines, though. Great fun!
