Tonight after work, supper and playing with a li'l grandkid, I got a workbench cleaned off enough to do some building. I've been torn between a Reno Mustang, which I actually started on a couple months ago and the Shoestring. I thought the Shoestring might be cool and enlarged some plans to give me a 15" wingspan and I'd use the Mustang wing and trim it down for the Shoestring...opps, too small, now what! Time for a beer and some time to figure it out!

I spent a good while getting the dimensions for my wing sorted out. I used several sheets of 11x17 graph paper before I got the right size and shape.

Mark,

That's just an excuse for a beer! Cut a bigger wing!  lol!

I don't want to go larger wingspan, I might just round tips, but don't want to loose scale ratio of cord vs, wingspan...now I'm thinking early p-51 with turtle deck, army green...I need to go out in the garage and see if I have any old paint that I can bring back to life with thinner
